Majestic Hips

Majestic Hips is the collaboration of two belly dancers from Long Island, Tia Katana and Coriena Loren. They both started their love for oriental dance a few years ago. After teaching themselves through instructional dvd's they both made thier way into Sasha's belly dancing studio. It was there that thier passion for belly dance and for performing began. It was not until they happened to be in the same class years later that they realized they had both grown up in the same town and went to the same high school, not to mention their numerous other common interests. From that point on a friendship was born and eventually so was Majestic Hips. They have  studied with amazing dancers such as, Sasha, Roni Yaari, Keashi, Suhaila Salimpour, Serpentessa, Tamalyn Dallal, Yasmine, Elisheva, Rashid, Olivia lolani Mayers, Jamillah al Wahid, Sera, Vorona and many more.
